Nemo Pools was founded by Harvey and Helen Nimmo back in 1961 as a new small business in Upstate New York. Back then, Grandma’s & Grandpa’s philosophy was to help their friends and neighbors in Upstate New York to get a little piece of that “American Dream” without breaking their budget.
Since moving to York Pennsylvania in 1972, our business philosophy has stayed the same, but we have expanded the levels of our products and services to now offer comprehensive “backyard family entertainment centers,” including; swimming pools, supplies and accessories; indoor and outdoor spas.
Our business has grown based upon our reputation for quality and service. At Nemo, we offer the highest quality equipment manufacturers in the industry, the highest quality parts, accessories and supplies; and the highest quality service available in the industry. Our customers are “lifetime customers” and through our business ethics and the quality of our after-market support, we continue to grow.
